Use: An 8 Megawatt substation with four 2 Megawatt Cummins Generators that have the capabilities to supply emergency power if needed, this substation supplies the main electrical power to the Army Military Command center.

Contract Amount: $550,000

Description: Design / build project consisting of a new 16,082 square foot building on Redstone Arsenal, near the new U.S. Army Materiel Command headquarters building. The band facilities will include space for a large rehearsal room, individual practice rooms, library, instrument storage, repair and cleaning, changing rooms and administration space

Contract Amount: $2,395,650

Duration: 9 months


Scope: The scope was the addition of a new generator and parallel gear into an existing system. All the work had to be accomplished within the confines of a fully operational hospital, requiring Jesse Stutts, Inc. to be able provide life safety and critical systems backup emergency power systems at any time, under any circumstance.
