JSI Safety and Health Program

A solid Safety Program is built best by teamwork. JSI strives for a zero accident workplace at each of our jobsites. We are committed to setting the standard for others to follow. This is accomplished with a proactive safety and health program.

Starting at the top, our owners have fully supported our Safety and Health program providing workers in the field with the latest advancements in Safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment. Employees are trained on various Safety equipment and proper use of PPE.

We encourage all employees to advance their abilities whether it is apprentice school for someone just getting into the electrical field or advanced training on high voltage, arc flash hazards and other specialized areas in the electrical field. Proper training, equipment, attitude and knowledge is what keeps JSI safe and always on the forefront of new safety practices and proper procedures in safety health and environmental. Our goal is to leave each job with no employee injury or illness as well as no damage to the environment.

Our EHS Manager is an authorized instructor for CPR/First Aid as well as OSHA 10 and 30hr courses enabling JSI to offer this training in house. A member of the "American Society of Safety Engineers" and current secretary for the Tennessee Valley Chapter, he is up to date on the latest news in the safety industry, and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council we look forward to involvement with environmental friendly and safe construction practices.
