Launch Your Career as a Skilled Electrician.
Start your journey in the electrical trade with hands-on experience, expert instruction, and nationally recognized certification—all while earning a paycheck.
Students learn the basics of safety, construction tools, electrical theory, and the National Electrical Code. Training focuses on developing foundational skills such as conduit bending, wiring methods, and safe work practices needed for entry-level electrical work.
This year builds on the basics with more hands-on wiring, installation, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial systems. Apprentices study AC theory, motors, transformers, and continue advancing their conduit and circuit skills.
Students move into advanced system design and code applications, including load calculations, grounding, and motor control systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding complex circuits and working safely with larger electrical installations.
The final year prepares apprentices for journeyman-level responsibilities and leadership roles. Topics include advanced NEC applications, fire alarm and automation systems, project planning, and crew supervision to ensure readiness for industry certification and independent work.
